Prefeasibility funds will allow us to assemble a project team and engage with the Franklin community over the next fiscal year. The working theory is that Franklin will utilize 191 Pearl Street as a swing school once Countryside construction is complete. The prefeasibility phase will help us analyze the Franklin School site and determine if 191 Pearl Street is the best solution to maintaining school operations during construction. Assuming that construction starts at Franklin, once Countryside moves out of 191 Pearl Street, then Franklin would start construction in 2027. The prefeasibility phase will allow us to determine if there are opportunities to be creative in project approach and schedule.
