The "First" Thanksgiving

What do we know about the “First” Thanksgiving in Plymouth in 1621, and how has this story been told ever since? This program presents an historical perspective, as well as an illustrated look at how this holiday has been portrayed in American art through the centuries. Learn about the myths that grew around the meaning of Thanksgiving, especially after it became a national holiday in 1863.
