Reading Frederick Douglass Together – 2:00PM
You can hear the reading of the famous Frederick Douglass address “What to the Slave is the Fourth of July?”.  Due to rain, the event will be held under tents behind the old Aquinas School on Walnut Park.  Street parking available.  A short walk to the Jackson Homestead and Museum, 527 Washington Street. Special Museum hours 12 – 5pm with free admission and museum tour.  Funded in part by Mass Humanities, which receives support from the Mass Cultural Council.
