• Flooding concerns: Check the pilot light on gas furnace and/or water heaters. Beware of water levels at or above electrical socket. The fire department is unable to pump basements with only a few inches of water or any water tainted with sewage.

• Hydrants: please help us help you by clearing your hydrants. Do not plant shrubbery or other vegetation around or near hydrants - visibility of every hydrant reduces the amount of time needed to search for its location.
