The Customer Service Division of the Public Works Department provides Newton residents, visitors, and businesses trustworthy and helpful information as well as helping them navigate Newton 311 to enter service requests for the Public Works Department and several other City departments. The Division is also critical to storm operations by manning the City's Emergency Operations Center during severe weather events.
Customer Service Representative Staff will be available between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. to answer calls and provide instruction on setting up appointments, obtaining permits, and handling any other requests.
