Home MenuRFI Remediation Fund
Welcome to the City’s Radio Frequency Interference Remediation Fund Section. The Fund was established as one of many special permit conditions imposed upon AM radio stations that constructed radio towers at 750 Saw Mill Brook Parkway in the Oak Hill neighborhood. The purpose of the Fund is to assist residents (1) who are experiencing RFI believed to be from the AM radio stations’ radio frequency emissions and (2) who live within or near a Remediation Zone identified in the special permit. The Fund is managed by an Administrator in accordance with the special permit conditions. The Fund contains a limited amount and cannot be used City-wide.
Residents may submit a RFI complaint to the Fund Administrator. The Administrator refers the complaint to the Fund consultant. The Fund consultant will contact the resident, arrange for a troubleshooting visit, diagnose the cause of the reported problem and, where permitted under special permit conditions, provide parts and services in order to resolve the RFI issue.
