Service Requests

Streetlight out, parking meter not working, sign knocked down or missing?  For non-emergency service requests and questions, please use the on-line Customer Service Center and someone will respond to you as soon as possible.  If you see a traffic signal, streetlight, sign or anything else knocked down or that appears unsafe and requires immediate attention, call the Newton Police Dispatch at 617-796-2100. DO NOT submit an on-line request where an immediate response is necessary.

Parking Meter Reservations

Public metered parking spaces may be reserved by individual or contractors for short durations.  Typical needs include minor construction work or on-street spaces needed for a moving van.  The Parking Meter Reservation application form is available online.  If you have any question, please email the City of Newton Parking Manager, at dthornton@newtonma.gov
