Spend the morning helping to care for the East Parish Burying Ground, the largest and oldest of Newton’s three historic burying grounds. Help rake leaves, collect rubbish and fallen limbs, and clip shrubs and plants that are encroaching on historic gravestones. Please bring rakes, gloves, or tarps if you have them and wear sturdy shoes. Come for part or all of the time! Meet at the corner of Centre and Cotton Streets, Newton Centre; park on Cotton Street.
