Learn about and provide input on the proposed design to add traffic calming and bike lanes on Albemarle Road and Brookside Avenue from the Charles River to Washington Street. The proposal will slow vehicle speeds, improve safety and enhance accessibility. This is a short-term, non- construction project. The project proposes paint, flexposts and temporary rubber speed cushions to calm traffic.
Information on the project, including a copy of the presentation and concept design proposal, will be posted to the website for review prior to the meeting at https://www.newtonma.gov/government/planning/transportation-planning/projects/albemarle-traffic-calming-bike-lane.
