Join us for spring cleaning at one of Newton’s three burying grounds through NewtonSERVES. Learn about history and enjoy a bit of Newton’s green space while raking, clipping overgrown shrubs, and more. Bring gloves, plastic leaf rakes, clippers, and tarps (if you have them) and wear sturdy shoes. Everyone is welcome, but advance registration is required through NewtonSERVES. Register here by choosing one of the Historical Burying Grounds from the list. Note that the West Parish clean-up takes place from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. and the others take place from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
