Take a closer look at the history of some of Newton’s recreation areas on this fun, leisurely-paced ride. We’ll stop at Crystal Lake and Newton Centre Playground on our way to the Chestnut Hill Reservoir, once a popular destination for 19th century bicyclists. The approximately six-mile loop starts and ends at Landry’s Bicycles, 66 Needham Street, Newton Highlands. Riders must wear a helmet and sign a waiver.
