Newton's 150th Birthday Celebration
2024 marks 150 years since Newton became a City. This new form of government became official on Inauguration Day in January, 1874. On Inauguration Day 2024, this open-to-the-public event will include birthday cake, music, and a gathering of public officials after their swearing-in ceremony at noon.
