Interested in supporting your community while experiencing your local history? Join us during this year’s city-wide NewtonSERVES service day. Spend a spring day beautifying two of Newton’s oldest cemeteries, the East Parish Burying Ground and West Parish Burying Ground. A Historic Newton educator will also point out the resting places of some of our city’s prominent historical figures. All necessary tools will be provided.
East Parish Burying Ground, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
West Parish Burying Ground, 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
