Women, Infant & Children (WIC): WIC is a nutrition program that provides healthy foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding support and referrals to healthcare and other services, free of charge, to MA families who qualify.

 

SUPPORT FOR PARENTS

Are you a parent or an expecting mother?

Family Access offers counseling and consultation services for young parents (under 23) who are pregnant or have a child. For more information or to make a referral to Young Parent Support (YPS) contact Karen at kseniuk@familyaccess.org or call 617-969-5906 ext. 125.

The National Maternal Mental Health Hotline provides 24/7, free, confidential support, resources & referrals to any pregnant and postpartum mothers, and their loved ones, facing mental health challenges. Call or text 1-833-9-HELP4MOMS (1-833-943-5746) in English and Spanish.

Parent Advocacy League: PAL is a FREE service that provides services and referrals for families who are supporting youth with emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges. Additionally, PAL’s offers families with IEP support, support groups, and 1:1 support for families before, during and after crisis, to assist with rebuilding.  All supports are in either English or Spanish, and are NOT insurance based, and are free.
