Housing Help: Next Steps and Resources When You're at Risk of Foreclosure

 

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

Residential Assistance for Families in Transition (RAFT): Renters and homeowners in need of assistance can access this state-funded program managed by Metro Housing Boston. RAFT provides eligible households with up to $10,000 in a 12-month period that can be used to help keep housing, obtain new housing, or otherwise avoid homelessness. A Notice to Quit is required for eligible applicants (renters). Apply for RAFT funding HERE.

The Horace Industrial Cousens Fund: This local grant provides emergency assistance to eligible Newton residents. Contact the Cousens Fund by calling 617-796-1324 or emailing cousensfund@newtonma.gov. Applications can be found online HERE.

Newton-Wellesley Hospital 5-Town Assistance offered through Metro West Collaborative Development.
