New Dental Insurance Carrier: Starting January 1, 2025, we are introducing Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) Dental as our new dental insurance provider. This new plan will bring enhanced coverage and more flexible plan options.

Here’s what you can look forward to:

Enhanced Plan Design: Expect improved features that offer more
comprehensive coverage for your dental care needs, an expanded network with
more covered dental providers, and increased preventative and diagnostic care
coverage.

Dependent Coverage: Dependents are now eligible for continued coverage up to age 26. This means no more yearly recertifications for dependents over age 19, which was required under the previous plan. However, if you have dependents between the ages of 19 and 26 who are not currently on the plan, you will need to submit a dental enrollment form to ensure they are added to your coverage.

New 3-Tier Structure: In addition to the existing individual and family plans, we are introducing a Retiree + One option, offering more flexibility to choose the coverage level that best aligns with your needs.

Automatic Plan Transition: Your existing dental plan under Guardian will be
transitioned to the appropriate Blue Cross Blue Shield Dental plan according to
the new 3-tier structure. For example, if you're currently enrolled in a Family plan and only cover yourself and a spouse, you will be transitioned to the Retiree + One tier, resulting in additional savings.

Please note: No action is required unless you wish to make additional changes to your coverage such as adding dependents.
