Safety Breaks
On particularly busy or hot days, the Manager on Duty will initiate safety breaks. Safety breaks allow lifeguards a chance to rest their eyes and have a short break out of the sun. Children are also unaware how fatigued and dehydrated they get from constant swimming. The safety break allows them to rest, replenish fluids, and rebuild oxygen levels in their bodies.
