The Newton Bluefish Swim Team is a recreational swim team consisting of boys and girls between the ages 6 through 18. The Newton Swim Team works to develop each swimmer to reach his or her individual potential by coaching the basic fundamentals of each stroke at every practice. This gives each swimmer the opportunity to achieve competitive success. Swimmers are expected to practice and attend meets. 

The team is designed for any youth seeking the opportunity to challenge his or her self to achieve excellence in competitive swimming. Athletes will receive quality coaching and training, including the development of good stroke technique. Team members are shown how to set goals and how to meet them through teamwork, commitment, cooperation, determination and good sportsmanship.
