City of Newton OSRP 2020-2027
The OSRP is an important municipal planning document. It provides an inventory of all existing areas of recreational use and open space, both City-owned and privately-owned. It includes goals and action items for protecting, stewarding, and connecting Newton's natural areas and recreation spaces. The OSRP has been reviewed and approved by the state Department of Conservation Services, and so is valid for 7 years.
