Project Goals:

To preserve the integrity of the former Davis School, a ca. 1921 Colonial Revival style building designed by Crissman & Solomon Architects of Watertown, while also renovating the building to provide adequate, building code compliant egress and sprinkler systems and improved accessibility. The building is the home of Family Access, a nonprofit which provides childcare, preschool and other family centered programs in the historic former school.

Funding Process:

July 24, 2023 - Pre-Proposal submitted for review at the CPC's August 8 meeting.  Additional materials submitted with pre-proposal application include:

August 8, 2023 - CPC reviews Pre-Proposal at regularly scheduled meeting and unanimously votes to invite the applicants to submit a full proposal for further consideration.

 May 17, 2023 - Full Proposal submitted for the CPC's June 11 meeting.
