Current Project Goals
To rehabilitate and restore the historic National Register listed property by replacing all 248 of its original wood windows and completing extensive masonry repairs as needed.

Funding Process
February 17, 2023 - Pre Proposal Application with Attachments submitted for review at the March 14, 2023 CPC meeting.
March 14, 2023 - Applicant explained their proposed project after which the CPC unanimously voted to invite the applicant to submit a full application for review at a future meeting.
April 21, 2023 - Full Proposal submitted for review at a public hearing with the CPC at their next meeting on May 9.
July 6, 2023 - Additional Information submitted with updated project estimates, window and masonry specifications, and detailed drawings.
2010 Project Goals
Preserve and rehabilitate the original slate roof, including above-roofline masonry and cast stone decorative elements, of this National Register-listed 1926 junior high school. The building has received preservation awards for its adaptive reuse as rental housing, including 21 units affordable to low-income families.
